This policy covers the GlutenMatch website and its waitlist. The GlutenMatch app is not live yet. Before it launches, we will publish a full policy covering everything the app touches, including health-related information and sexual orientation, and we will email the waitlist when it is up.
Who we are
GlutenMatch is an upcoming iOS app for dating and friendship in the celiac and gluten-free community. Right now, this website exists to explain the app and to collect waitlist signups. You can reach us any time at contact@glutenmatch.com.
What we collect
When you join the waitlist, we store exactly three things:
- your email address,
- the city or metro area you type in,
- the time you signed up.
That is the only information this site collects about you. We run no analytics, no ad trackers, and we set no tracking cookies. Your waitlist entry is stored with Supabase, our database provider, and the site is served by Vercel, whose infrastructure keeps standard server logs to run the service.
How we use it
Two purposes. We email you about GlutenMatch in your area, including when it opens near you. And we count signups by city to decide where to open next. That is it.
What we never do
- Sell your data, to anyone, for any reason.
- Share it, except with the services named above that store and serve it for us.
- Use it for anything beyond the two purposes described here.
Data retention and deletion
We keep your waitlist entry until you ask us to remove it or until the waitlist has served its purpose. Want off the list? Email contact@glutenmatch.com from the address you signed up with and we will delete your entry. Deletion is handled by a person, not a script, so allow a few days.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have legal rights to access, correct, or delete personal information a service holds about you. With us that information is one row: your email, your city, and a timestamp. Email contact@glutenmatch.com and we will show it to you, fix it, or delete it.
